I recently had a test in which I needed to graph polynomials to find their roots. However, no matter what the constant on the end of the polynomial was, the calculator always showed a zero at (0,0) which is not possible. Reseting the Calc resolved the issue, but now I have no proof that my calculator was messed up. Is there anyway to recreate this issue? Thanks!

is it possible that you were zoomed really far out so it looked like it was at 0,0?

No, I standarded the zoom. When I traced and calculated the zeroes it said (0,0), and after the reset it went back to logical roots for the exact same equations

Maybe your mode was on 1 and it rounded down. Or it could of been any of the other settings on your calculator.

This is possible as the number was susposed to be close to zero. Thanks for the replies:o)
