I have 2 questions:

1. I was reading a reply to another thread somewhere around here, and a guy said "BASIC games won't show on MirageOS Automatically" or something like that, which gives a hint that you can get basic games to show up. I have a few basic game son my Calc, so is it possible? and if so, how?

2. Deadeyes shows up on Mirage, but I exec it, and the screen flashes but comes right back to Mirage. How can I get it to exec properly?

Thanks in advance,
-Joe

1. Add a colon as a first line of a program to get it to show up in MirageOS, with the option of a comment.

Example:

PROGRAM:BLAH
::"COMMENT G
OES HERE
:Disp "FUN P
ROGRAM"

prgmBLAH would show up in MirageOS with a comment of COMMENT GOES HERE

I don't exactly know how to help you with the second problem...

So do you know if Deadeyes is a ASSEMBLY or BASIC game? either one, the problem could be you don't have enough RAM to run the program, tell us how much RAM you have and how much space the program takes up

even in assembly the program is unarchived by MirageOS once you run it

It's probably this, it's called "Dying Eyes" but has a zip with the title Deadeyes and has an on-calc name of "DEADEYES." But confirmation is welcome?

Also, check in the readme to see if you have everything needed (and enough RAM).

Yeah, it's Dying Eyes, sorry.

It worked! When I originally tried, I had a few programs on RAM that took up too much space. I went and put them compatible with Mirage and then Archived them, and it worked. Thanks for the help guys.

DoorsCS is kind of like a Windows clone :)
If you don't need some of the Mirage keyhooks or don't worry much about memory, then DCS is pretty fun.

go to the top line of the program, and go as far left on that line as possible.
Press [2nd][DEL][enter] to move the line down
Press [up arrow]
Press [alpha][.] to place a colon.
Type a quotation mark and a program description up to 30 chars
DO NOT end description with another quotation mark
