Ok my IE keeps auto executing itself. Help me! I can't make it stop! I mean I'm right in the middle of something and bam the little 'Webpage not available offline page appears.' I'm using FF obviously. The only reason I even use it is when I'm checking critical updates.

Help me stop it. I've even upgraded to IE7. I also to a spyware check, virus scan, everyday at 7:00 PM.

Restart your computer.

hehehe
i have that problem.
but when it does try to pop up randomly instead it says "internet explorer has encountered a problem" and i click end now.
my computer is wierd.
it does things like no other computer. maybe it's cus it's a dell. or maybe because I own it. idk.
i just find it strange that something set on a rock solid basis of ones and zeroes can find the space fora sort of... personality, some would say.

Thats windows for ya. It's all nice and shinny and because of that it does what it wants when it wants. To try restarting you computer, that usually fixes 90% of all problems.

Chances are it means you have or had a virus and windows may be corrupted. Thats all. I bet your system as already started to slow down.

whats your anti-virus and no you don't have three fire walls.

I use avast, its free and great. It is my ant-virus, anti-spy ware, and more i just don't feel like listing them all.

About Linux. Personally I would stick with windows if I where you. Linux is really complicated and is intended for advanced users. I don't even run Linux, but I really don't like it that much. And not because of user reasons.

But I don't still have the CD. I mean I still have it but whenever I try it says the CD is blank. Should I just request a new CD from Microsoft?

lol, requesting a cd from microsoft is like asking the gas companies to lower their prices. You are gonna get laughed at and hung up on.

You might want to try Adwarealert and Spybot Search and Destroy. My Desktop was doing what you described until I ran those two prgrams.

And don't think that just one antivirus will work. Each have their own strengths and weaknesses. I used to have AVG, Avast, and Norton on my old machine... Now I just don't go to too many places on the web... :P

and AVG thinks opera's nifty email system is a virus so now my email scanner thinks its broken.
sigh.

no. its really gay. thats why i quoted it for my sig and screenshotted it for my avi.
also before you watch it you should google this and read it
"the philosophy of time" by roberta sparrow
fictional character but the book is the side product of the movie and since your mind is mainly based on facts the movie will blow your mind open wide and you wont get it. so read the pdf. its about 13 pages.

yes. you'll see what they mean. if you dont mind me ruining the movie, ill explain some.

spoiler alert-----------------------------------------------------

donnie darko wakes up in the middle of the road in the beginning of the movie, thats when he wakes up in the parrallel universe.
he then controls it, and is the master of water and fire, symbolized by certain things you will see.
he later will die and take up all the things that go wrong in that world to make them right in the reg universe. in that respect people think donnie represents jesus.
