 TI has released the "TI-84 Plus family Operating System v 2.40," and are following their campaign of mentioning new features in vague, mysterious means. The complete improvement list, and I quote, is "It provides all native functionality as well as communication with computers and supported peripheral devices," perhaps TI is planning to release new peripherals in the near future and they're ensuring devices will be compatible with them. At the moment, due to the "feature" listed below, we recommend to not update your calculator at this time.
Update: Users at Detached Solutions are reporting of a "Push to Test" function, which effectively locks the calculator down until link activity. |
