Solar-powered Vacuum Controlled by an 83+Andy
Calculator-driven Solar Vacuum Cleaner
This robot was made by a group of students in Belgium for a solar-powered robotics contest. The entire unit, including the calculator, draws power from the solar panel. The robot did not win the contest; however it was the media's favorite. More information here.

I'm guessing it's a Europe thing. The up and down buttons aren't connected, so that rules out an 84+.

It says it's an 83+ though...

Correct, I'm just saying it can't be a case of misinformation. It's definitely a white 83+/SE. Also, you can tell because the link port is on the bottom.

Yeah, I was looking at the buttons as well, and came to the same conclusion. Maybe it's an opaque silver edition.

I have now been informed that it might be a case-modded 83+, explaining the whiteness. My source is not sure, however.

Yeah, the robot looks pretty cool. The calc case is just colored. If you look at the screenies you'll notice that 2nd/alpha labes are not there. Also, if you look near the lcd plate you'll see some paint slightly going over the edge. Either way, white calc did look rather nice.

Kind of helps when I actually visit the forum where it was posted, and ticalc staff don't, and they need to be emailed, and I don't, if that makes any sense whatsoever. :P
