Put in the TI Connect CD and let it install on its own. If that doesn't work download this and install it.

haveacalc, it only automatically installs drivers if you've already installed TI-Connect or have to disk in the drive.

No problems are created in doing that, though?

Yeah, plugging in the calc before installing drivers will cause it to reinstall the drivers each time it's plugged in. It doesn't bother me though since it only takes about 10 seconds to find the old ones and flag them as the ones to use.

Funny I have never had it do that to me. Once I installed the calc before TI Connect and the comp freaked out. Said it was an unknown device.

Hey, on the subject: I just transferred my TI stuff to another computer, but when I installed TI connect and my calc and everything, it forgot to identify all the TI file types. How may I correct this?

Yeah, but they aren't under there, and when I tried to add them Windows wouldn't accept my additions.

Besides, it was automatic last time, e.g. after installation .tig files are TI Connect group files, .8xp are program files, etc.

Steps for .8xp:
1. Right-click on something.8xp
2. Choose "open with"
3. Find Graph-Link
4. Check the "always do it that way, if you don't mind" option and press OK

Keep in mind that, by default, an error message is displayed to award most attempts to open up things with only TI Connect installed. It only changes the icons for those files.

Um...Actually, my icons didn't change. That's the problem. I am aware that it won't open if you double click it; I didn't really want that. I wanted the right-click "Send to TI device" option. I hate having to go to all the trouble of manually opening SendTo... >_<
