| Another Dead Summer Approaching | Barrett | Last summer was bad; this summer will be worse. With files coming like crazy to ticalc.org, it will be almost impossible to recover after this summer if things go the way they did last year. The ticalc.org staff is mostly on vacation, but programs and images are still being continually uploaded. When Fall finally comes, there could be thousands of pending files. The only solution I can see to this problem is to see it ahead of time and be sure to keep pending to minimum. And to those who want to upload your files; you can help by uploading only useful programs now, or at least combining similar files in to one file. I'm sure everyone wants to see files pending as fast as possible, but with last summer in mind, that is not going to happen.

Maybe they should have a "back up" staff so while ones on vacation, the other is still keeping it going... If you get my meaning.

lol, if we ever get more than 1 file submission a week - maybe... (EVERYONE SUBMIT YOUR FILES!!!)

good idea... i rarely leave my house during the summer... but i don't really know if i'd be willing to do all those files by myself.

That's indeed a good question as to how long it'll take them to get file pending down. I doubt we'll have file problems for a long time, since we rarely get anything submitted. In fact, our submit file form is much faster that ticalc's and we get files added much quicker --- so, submit your files as it only takes about one minute or so! You don't have to submit just calc games, you can submit anything that's could fit into our current sections. And as goes to adding files, I usually do that job.
