King of Fighters 2000Barrett
Joe Flint of TIWorld has finally released King of Fighters 2000. I had never heard of it until now, but suposedly it's been under developement for over 2 years. I don't know why I had never heard of it because this is an incredible game. I played it for 15 minutes and was nearly blown away by the graphics (especially for 83(+(SE))'s small screens and limited RAM). It's a fighting game similar to Street Fighter/Mortal Combat/all of those good ones but with a lot of different characters. Check it out if you've got any kind of 83(+(SE)).

Well, I must say this is indeed a great game for z80. Finally a good fighting game for 83+. The graphics were ported very nicely, considering they in B/W. Congrats to Joe!

Has anybody tried it yet?

The only thing that's annoying about this is sometimes it's a bit easy, and kind just a button-press fest, u can just go up to the foe and keep pushing kick/punch, and a lot of the time u can win. Wat r the combos/secret chars? I think i've unlocked andy so far.

Yeah, I did try it on my 83+. I totally agree that it plays not as good as it looks, but still. You can push the oponent into a corner and he wouldn't be able to get out (this is a major problem in many fighters, which gets a lot of attention from developers who know why its a major problem). Anyway, its a good game, at least first real fighter for 83's. I think they deserve a credit for this game (I also hope to see some improvements). I dunno about the combos as I didn't really see anything special but it said i used two combos.

Unless this is a different copy, I believe you can download it off ti-fr. I actually have it on my calculator right now, just no other people w/ 89's, so i can't link play :(

Yeah, it does crash a lot
