I'd say cool, but TI really hasn't changed anything in this AMS.

I love the addition of the trig funcs since I am in the process of a lot of it right now. Even though i have now math class I still use the calc for math.

I agree, even though those trig funcs are pretty easy to type in by hand if you know conversions but them being right in the system make life easier and speed up everyhting. So, even though ppl trash this new AMS, I actually like it. Err...desktop sucks though. TI should have put a little more work into it and allow other progs on it, not just apps.

If the ability to put your own non-app icons on the desktop then it would be more useful.

Exactly, why'd you want to keep just your apps there when you hardly used any of them except homescreen. Being able to have files there would be much more useful. Not to say there can be added a small basic function to stick a picture as an icon for basic progs. How cool would that be! I'd however would like to see nested folders instead. Its not so hard to achieve but no one seems to care much. I really like that nested folder feature of HP-49G.

yeah thats really bugged me. If you have a games folder and you want to organize the games but the folders can't/haven't been nested yet.

yes, and this isn't particularily hard to do. you'd still have all your files kept in one folder so that programs still find them but for user side, they'd be neatly organized into nested directories. so, basically, you won't be able to have files with same name even in different folders but this seems like a good idea to me anyway. too bad its only an idea.
