i think so... there are only 3... provo (where i'm going, and the best school), hawaii (the best location in some ways yet the worst location in other ways), and idaho (in the middle of nowhere).

BYU colleges were rated as some of the best living environments, if you don't mind mormon restrictions, and since you've been raised your whole life, shouldn't be too bad.

alright... i'm here... i've only been here long enough to realize that this is a really good school. all the computers are awesome and they all have very nice LCD screens with high res and VERY fast connection.

[edit]: by the way.. i won't have my computer back for at least a week or two... but i'll be using the school's a lot.

ok, i'm very, very, very angry, mad, upset, and whatever else at the world right now.

my computer came, and guess what! i turned it on, the lcd was WHITE, and then a few minutes later (still white) i could hear the music that is played when you first set up windows XP!

so basically, my computer is still broken, and i won't have a working one for another few weeks, AND i've lost EVERYTHING. so everyone stop looking forward to tankers and SAS, cause chances are they're both gonna stay where they are. unfortunately i hadn't released the newest tankers and map editor, but oh well... i'm over it.

That stinks. No chance of recovering anything from the hard drive?

that sucks, but if the hard drive wasn't reformatted there's a chance you can recover a lot of the data.

Even if it was reformatted, you can still recover information, but how much you can get is unknown; how much the program or the service is, it's quite alot.

well i got my computer back... i do have a backup cd that i made in may of 2003... it has the most recent SAS source (if that's a hint as to how often i work on that) and the source to the most recently RELEASED tankers (not the one with all the changes i've made since then)... not sure if i want to work on either yet, but i may get bored some time soon.

well actually the SAS i have is not the most recent (on ticalc.org there's a BETA)... but it's not up to that date... but i didn't make any major changes (although for some reason the one i have is VERY buggy... i'll try to figure it out though)
