Hey everyone, here came and went our new milestone of 500000 downloads. I'd like to thank all of our visitors and those who are coming back for doing what they do naturally, that is coming for TI calculator game :). We're really glad that many find our resource useful and we'll be happy to see everyone come back.

Thanks!

The power of RSS/XML newsfeeds strikes again! No really, A opera window slid up and said there was a new news article. :-)

Wow, 500,000 downloads, thats quite alot.

You're Welcome.

Yeah, those 30 minutes I put out to make the RSS feed actually proved useful. 500K dls can certainly considered a relatively large number expecially for a medium size website like us. Personally, I think our hard work has its use and it didn't just benefit the end-users but it also allowed us to learn a lot of programming and attain new skills. But yeah, at those high traffic months of BTS we at times even average 30-50K dls in one month and then comes slower time...not to mention that old db used to clear out losing data due to bugs so the numbers are actually lower than what they should have been. Either way, I'm just saying "this is cool!". Btw, Mozilla Firefox is better than Opera in my opinion. At least its has the fastest page loading times I've seen to date while IE and NS are ones of the slowest. I do like IE's features and all that windoze integration to make life a little easier...Oops, I'm not starting a browser war. :)

Yeah, I know how it is D because I'm also really busy these days. It's nice that my college starts Sep. 8 so I still have some extra time to do stuff. I caught this number by accident actually, I was just checking our bandwidth for the month and saw this number and was like "holy crap...". Btw, last month we got 16GB of transfer which is officially our highest traffic month to date. Last month we had 30K unique visitors, almost 4.72M hits and 1.83M pages served. That month alone we had traffic which roughly equals to the previous 2 and 1/2 months. I kinda like all the influx though, its more fun to do stuff when its moderately busy rather than slow. Dunno, maybe I'm just weird.

Congrats on the high number. WOO WOO! :-)

[Off Z's tangent]
Opera is supposedly slightly faster, but I don't like it that much. NS was never great, IE is horribly slow and is meant to support basically everything, meaning coding specifically for it is a pain because it's like bits and pieces of everything. I don't like IE anymore. I was big on supporting it until this year.
Mozilla Firefox is the best browser out there. If you're not using it, snag it now. It's faster, easier on your PC's resources, and it's better in so many ways than most browsers out there.

Yay! Even the jaugernaut named TiCalc started small. CG is well an it's way. I hope that it will soon dominate TI! :img05:
