i remember the last time i "counted", calcgames.org had a total of 1200 files... so i went to make a backup using ensim today, but the site's too big so the browser times out and i got a file 0 bytes large (typical, used to happen when we had the ROMs)... so i made a backup using cuteftp... took about half an hour... i expanded the entire directory and it was freakin' long. if you were to print it it would have probably gone 100 yards... OVER 3000 FILES AND FOLDERS!.. anyway... i thought that was crazy.. in fact every time a new topic is posted in the forum 2 new files are created... and every time a new forum is created, 1 folder plus 2 index files, not to mention 2 for every topic.... so the site's growing like crazy..

anyway, i don't know why i typed all that, i'm really bored... i just thought it was interesting that the number of files has doubled in the last 2 months or so

I have no interest in getting Kazaa. What other programs can I use.

As I've said I'm rearly online when at home. Next I don't really know wat Kazaa is used for, and third I have a 56.6 modem at home so if I'm dowloading all the time it would take forever.

Um...what happened to the "Popular Files" and "Recent Files" lists in the left frame. They are not showing up even after a refreshing of the page.

After looking even more it appears (from this end) that every single file has been deleted

Well, you can get a shareware version from http://www.globalscape.com/ but as B said you can get a free one from Kazaa.
As with files, db got cleared out. Looks like a bug is still lying somewhere in the code. :( Anyway, I got it restored to a 4 day old db. B prolly has a never one and he'll fix it up later today.
