i just had a really cool idea - a screen shot section of the site with simply a page of cool screenshots... i got the idea just now after looking at a screenshot of a really awesome parametric graph i made a while ago...

in it could be cool graphs, really high scores, glitches, or really cool situations you are in within a game...

wha'd'yall think?

and of course there can be a description and you can submit your own, and possibly a rating system as well with some contests mixed in.

this does sound interesting but how exactly to you plan to present it to our visitors (what should look like)?
also, do you mean to have something like screenshot gallery similar to our file archive or something?

That's a cool idea. I'd vote for it. *idea* Why not make a poll about it? BTW, what's the equation(s) for that graph? It looks pretty cool...

Oh yes, speaking of ideas BullFrog's is certainly a good candidate! Yes, let's make a poll and see what people have to say about this.

This would be really cool to have. Since we do need a new poll BF's idea will work nicely. Kind of like a site improvement thing. I know I have some I could put up.

I think the "really-high score" part of it, might become a bit useless, and take up a lot of room.

i have to agree on that though. i will also require quite a bit of new code to add...we need something more useful. maybe some educating math section for instance where people can learn math stuff and have screens or something. or something useful, plain screenshots seem to be of no point even though they're cool. it's kinda like people on ticalc submit 150 screen packs and get on the busiest author top list.
the idea does seem like fun though.

these won't be normal files... and we'll have to accept them individually.... no crap screenshots would be accepted. only ones that are really cool

well, maybe. i however think we should still focus on more important stuff for now, like our unfinished projects. SAS for instance need only a few things done. it shouldn't be too hard adding a screenshots section, and i can add it this summer. i just think we should get at least one of our pending projects done cuz we're still stuff with a lot of ongoing things. either way, let me know how you want it.

Finish and release SAS, its been long enough. We postponed Tankers for SAS, and SAS for SC89. We need to make up our minds. BTW if I get a chance I'll upload that study guide for chemistry I made.

Yes, SAS is so close to completion and its very sad that it lost most of people's interest mainly to our negligence and lazyness. I think we should resume it since it does have some good petential and we've done lots of work on it already. And all promised release of SAS never came...
Go on Dig, up your guide. Hmm, do we like need a gueide/text section on the site or something?

A Miscilany (check spelling) section would be appropriate

Yeah, I guess. I should have two days off this week which are friday and saturday. So hopefully I'll add in this section and get to add files which I had no time to add throughout this week. My apologies for taking so long to add the files.

We all have a life. If work takes up our time or if school absorbs it to, it is all understandable. Or if one needs to take time off, anyway we are looking foward to it.

I have an OT concern about the site right now. When I click on any links (under the site dropdown and the ones on the bottom of the page), the page is opened in the main frame, not the one section that is center left.

Edit: the anomoly (sp) I was experiencing seems to have stopped.
