Okay, here in CT we have a little standardized test given to sophomores called the CAPT tests. (Connecticut Aptitude Practice Test... I think.) They happen in about 2 weeks, and they take up a whole week. Anyway, I'm a Junior, so I don't have to take them. And since I don't have to be in school during the tests, I get to come in real late to school. Which is cool by itself. But...

On certain Wednesdays, I get out of school at 12:30.

Put these together, and on Wednesday during that week I have one class and lunch. My school day is from 11:30 to 12:30. :) If only that one class was my guitar class...

We have that here in Indiana. Ours is called the ISTEP test.

Those that didn't have to take the test (Covered 3-4 days) brought in game boys, movies, or anything else (Some teachers allowed game systems with multiplayer games only) and that was how we spent our week. I of course programmed, or read one of my many books...

My test results:

Math 180 points above minimum pass points
English 80 points above minimum

I was in the top 14 of my state... :D

I knew that about college, so I'm quite excited. More chill time. :)

I might go in early and play a few rounds of MTG.

Hey Zedd, maybe you should at least try Magic before you go all crazy on it.

Well, that's what I'd do. My friends are all going to do it, even the one that looks like Gollum from LOTR. (Really.)

And yes, I know the immense amount of work involved, Zedd. Frankly, I'm willing to do it. I know what is expected of me. I hope to go to a school where learning is not just in a classroom and it is an involved and at least slightly fun process with hands-on work. I'm not planning on going to any lecture hall-type schools.

Music theory is awesome. The work is really fun. I've composed some very interesting pieces, if you'd like to see them and you have the Finale PC software, email me.

Well, Finale is a sheet-music writing software. I'm not sure, but if you google search for it you may find a free download of it.
