Wow, these forums are EXTREMELY hard to read on my laptop with the LCD dimmed... We really ought to look into having different color schemes or something.

Wow, talk about OT...

Korkow, its one of the few internet slang words I know. I must enforce it. :)

BTW, "w00t" is best said unenthusiastically and followed by "rock" in the same manner.

Wait a minute... Alex... you can't factor??? Holy crap, how in the world are you going to survive in Trig or math at all without factoring? It's so easy, too! Wow... just wow.

Sorry if this offended you. I just find it amazing.

its not that i cant learn, its that i'm unbelievably lazy... (oddly enough, i passed my exam with an 89.5, meaning it makes no difference if i can factor or not, i passed the class anyway :))

Graduating June 18 (would've been the 11th if it hadn't been for the snow days), 5th out of 172 graduates. A few seniors are on at least their second year (one I know of is at least three), and there's one person who might not graduate because she's failing gym. LOL!!

i finished may 20th. a week ago suckers! and im like 200 out of 1600 juniors (yeah i go to a huge school). id be like 25th but my gpa was lowered by getting a zero in physics and precalc 1st semester (too many calc games). 2 0.0 gpa's brought my gpa down to 3.4. i had good grades elsewhere.

my grades were great last year, then i decided to take German... i'm one of the most fluent people in that class, yet my grade is always between C and F... strange if you ask me...

Fah! a pox on all o you! I still have until the 17th, and I'm desperately trying to get my grades back up (that's why I haven't been on the forums since last thursday, and why I won't be anytimee during the week unless I can bypass the school block list).

After this year I'll be getting out May 4 or so, very cool. :D

I've had an average of a 3.72 GPA, with my AP Calc class being my clear favorite. The only class I've had any trouble with is English just because I really don't like analysing books and poems and things like that. The only foreign language we have other than Spanish and French is Latin, which certainly helps in terms of vocab and taking SATs.
Our plastic palace of a school is overpopulated. We have about 1000 people in a school built for 600. Yeah, kinda crowded. The "temporary plastic walls" (which are supposedly bulletproof yet not pencil-tip-proof) have been there for over 20 years, and they're (finally) thinking about tearing the school down (or at least the walls) and rebuilding it.

Alex: That only works on Win9x...

Also, it's very easy to lock down the "default" (ie, not logged in) user to have absolutely nothing other than a Log Out item.

I love my English class. Analyzing literature can actually be really fun, and it helps you write your own stuff. Everyone here should be good with grammar: all it is is syntax, which is the same as programming.

true, but English grammar is so strange...

besides, who needs Syntax? (that was sarcasm)

I had a cumulative GPA of 3.994, if I remember right. And that's unweighted... My favorite classes would have to be Calculus and Physics. They were so much fun.

I don't like English very much. I think that you're fine as long as you can get your point across. Obviously, others have a different idea on things.

Alex: No, it doesn't. On NT-based systems, it replaces the standard Windows login, which you MUST log in with or you can't use the computer at all. Don't try to tell me otherwise; I was junior net admin in high school and they run Novell.

andy - i thought you meant the actual Windows login, not the Novell login... sry about that...
