My CD Walkman can play MP3 and AAC files, so I'm set. :) 650MB CD-RW holds a few hours of music, and I get a good 30 hours on batteries or so. With a car cassette adapter, I'm good to go for a long haul. :)

RHCP - Can't Stop,
Eric Clapton - Layla, and
The Von Bondies - Cmon Cmon.

Those are the highlights of my current playlist. Also, I just got an adapter that works anywhere in the world as long as you plug in the right part, which means I can bring my mp3 player to Europe ( :) * 1000 ). Actually, I have 2 mp3 players, but one is older than dirt practically and holds a max of 16 songs (64 megs) so I never use it except as a paperweight.

I love Layla, that song is great, provided that your speakers are loud enough. But right _now_ "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers is playing..

Do you like the acoustic version or electric version better? I like both, but I think the electric is a bit better.

Yeah, the electric one. But I also stumbled upon an all trombone instrumental a while back, that's suprisingly good.

ah how could i forget streetlight and less than jake? i saw streetlight twice, once while they were on tour with big d and the kids table and once when they were on ska is dad with mu330 and the voodoo glowskulls. they were so awesome. in the middle of point/counterpoint, they started playing keasby nights by catch22 cause theyre pretty much the same song. everybody just died. it was so good.

and about the aquabats.im being forced to go to nebraska ( i live in texas) to visit relatives and i was really bummed out until i found out that the aquabats are gonna be playing!!!!!!!!!! now i cant wait to go! and since its in nebrask (hick state) theres gonna be no one there but me and maybe a few local college students. its gonna be sweet.
