Total Posts: 1111 | Good call, Jc. I found out how to choose when Pride comes to the Item Shop! To my knowledge, I am the first one to discover such a thing.
On the title screen, after you have pressed start, select the Item Shop, but do not press anything. Position yourself to press the A button at any moment. After a couple seconds, some redness will fade in at the top of the screen, and a lightning bolt will strike, then fade away. Press A after the lightning has reached it's maximum visibility, but before everything fades away. Pride is triggered somewhere in there, but I haven't found out exactly where (I only found out yesterday afternoon). I already got the Light Stone like this (I now have 107 out of 121 items). It may take several tries to get it down, but I am beyond sure that it works.
