Heyyas, nice to see you back. We're all busy eh? Anyways, something fresh is needed. Perhaps an adaptation of the site's logo? I was thinking to create like a nice metallic letters and made a nice design out of them but I can't seem to find where my PS action went that I made. Anyways, do you have any ideas of your own? Although we need some stuff with CG logo, not all merch will carry it, we also would like to have some nice pics/designs on merch too. The main goal of the store is not profit but rather assist with the CG server as it takes more and more to run it. Thanks man.

Z for a metallic look use the "Layer Styles" stuff. Or for a brushed metal look there should be something in the "Recepies" stuff also.

Noo, it's not just a metallic look. I've had a whole action made with texture and other crap and it indeed produced a very nice output. I just don't feel like doing it over by hand. Anyways, do you guys have any ideas of your own cuz my ideas aren't always that great?

aight, digital's made some really nice pics.... but we still need a logo for the front of shirts and more simple things like the frisbee and backpacks... digital, if you can do that too that'd be great... but the more logos we get the better they'll be (we'll probably use more than one)

I'll try B. But I'm not that good with just plain text stuff. Hey, live and learn. Christmas break is supposed to be a time relaxed and away from school but I already know that I will have work from chem and history to do. Oh, my time may be involuntarily taken away by Bryce 5, must...resist...the...temptaion...AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! If I don't get it I will go out and buy it.

Bryce is $200 for full, $100 for upgrade (requires a previous version of Bryce to install).

Yeah, I know what upgrades are. Anyways, is Bryce about as powerful as Max? Either way, Max has absolutely thievous prices only available to for-profit devs and not even all. And Discreet is complaining about high theft, like everyone has 15 grand to spend. That's a freeking cost for a decent car! Okay, well, that was my two cents 8D

Well as far as I know Bryce and Max are totally different types of progs. Bryce is designed for landscaping, animation, and with the added features of metaballs-organic 'stuff. I have never touched Max before but it is probably like a modeling and rendering prog. About power?-you would have to test the individual capabilities to see which is the better. I went to descretes site and yeah I agree there is nothing 'descrete' about the price.
