Okay I need you to answer some questions before I can continue to help you.
1. Do you have any linking software [installed] and an appropriate cable, i.e. TI-Connect w/ the USB cable, or TI-GraphLink with either the Gray or Black cables?
2. Do you already have files/games that you want to put on your calculator? (I have to ask for the sake of asking)
3. In the readme for the games, is there any shell or kernal that is said to be needed to run the game?
If I don't get back to you right away, there are others who can help you the rest of the way. |

Total Posts: 623 | First of all, welcome to the world of the 89. Second, read the FAQ, like it states on the home page of the forum. Third, there is a tab at the top of the screen titled "Games". Click on that, select the 89 section. Download what you wish. Then unzip 'em, and send them via graphlink to your calc. If you do not know what a graphlink is, or do not have one, you'll need to get the games from a friend or someone who also has an 89.

Total Posts: 623 | No problem. Once they're on your calc, you'll need to go into the Var-Link menu to access them. (Or just type them into the command line...)

OFten there is good news, but ti-news which is (from it's title) a lot more news-based than we are, and posts a lot of news. I'd rather people go there and read it than post it up re-phrasing it here. |

Total Posts: 1051 | Yes it was Bullfrog. Being and admin implicitly requires you to participate in what you can and help other out, basically what your doing now. It also gives you moderator controls which have not been necessary lately since everyone has respect for our boards. |
