I have downloaded the dooros zip files an whet and I have unzipped dooros.89z to my ti-89 with my usb link. And then it says to type "dooros()" at the home screen to install it. But I type dooros() and nothing happens??? How do I get it to install. The same thing happens when I try to run basic programs.

should be doorsos() i think. maybe you forgot to download few files from the kernel's zip. you'll need to trasfer some of the libraries from its lib folder. when dooros installs properly i'll display a message.
also, do you hit enter once more when program command is pasted onto your homescreen? if you missed that programs will not launch.
i'd also recommend you stick with preos or kerno because for these you don't need libraries and they're a lot more reliable than doorsos(you can find a copy of those in our and ticalc.org's archives).
