i'm just wondering whether anyone has already tried polysnd. its featured on ticalc.org and apparently seems like something worthy of checking out. i'm still yet to find free time for that so here i am asking whether anyone else already did. i just looked at its features and if its all true then it may as well revolutionize the calc sound.

Yes I know, sound? That would rock! I don't have an 89, so I can't try it out, but sound? Thats awesome! Move over Game boy, here comes the Calculator!

You need to get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm plug though, this and limited storage/inability to play in background make sound on a calculator pretty useless..

Well, the sound can be run during grayscale routines. I've tried this on both my 89 and V200. It works really well. As for size, there isn't a file that is over 1KB, excluding the stand alone file format.

It will be perfected eventually, but I agree with Z, this is revolutniary- definently a big break through!!!!!

Can't wait till the SE gets sound, (if I'm still alive! :) )

It does have sound, but the only prog that does it seems rather limited. You can find a copy in ticalc.org 83(+?)asm programs section.

Yes. I know, but I hope one day it will be better. I'll wait a year or two before I get it.
