Every time I try to put anything on my TI-83 plus silver edition It says it is not compatible with the connected device. Even if the game, program, or anything I try to put on it is ment for it. It all started when I updated to the newest version.

What are you trying to put on that's not compatible? Make sure that the extension is *.8x*. Example: phoenix.8xp or bubble.8xk. (Program and application.)

Did you forget to unzip the archives your games come in? Open up the zip archives on your computer and extract the calculator files with extensions .8xp, .8xg or .8xk and send these files.

technically, dead threads should be closed...
its kind of pointless posting and especially asking questions in dead threads, for some very obvious reasons. well, maybe these reasons are not so obvious to everyone.

Z, on this it just depends on what is said to revive a dead thread. For example, he is asking a bad question which makes the revival bad.

nod D, but asking a question to most of these threads is very pointless since peopel just leave.

its not about questions, its just authors who posted a thread long ago are not likely to respond thus making questions rather pointless.
