You all know the regular Megaman assembly game for the 83 plus, right? Someone should make a second one! Me and all my friends at school LOVE the first one!

Pardon me for asking, but what features makes megaman 2 better? I've never played the original....

Maybe listing those would be more helpful, and in anycase, there are better sites to post game ideas on.

Well, I mean, like different ammo and bosses.

I'm speaking as a MM fan who grew up with the NES series.

Megaman 2 was WAY better than the original. It introduced the password system, had more bosses, more stages, and more overall challenge. 1 was kinda lame.

I played Megaman TI and beat it. It was cool, but huge and easy. You can actually find a decent(?) 86 port of the NES MM2 on ticalc.org.

I think MMX series were still the best ones. MM83 project was abandoned a long time ago anyway, I doubt anyone will pick it up. Besides, I'm not too sure if it even comes with source code...

I highly doubt the 86 game of Megaman is a Port from the NES. I really hate the new Megaman Battle Network stuff though.

MMX7 was kinda dumb. So is X8. But X1, X2, and X3 were spectacular.
I have tons of MM games (cartriges, not stupid roms), including MM7 and... MM Soccer both for SNES.

Mega Man 86

It has been done, though the levels are not overly long. The graphics are identical, though.

Why do you hate the MMBN? I enjoy the games due to the fact they are extremely challenging...

"PLAY MEGAMAN86. ITS COOL, YO."

Anyone remember that from ticalc.org a while back?

I've played megaman before, at my uncle's house. Don't remember much about it, though. I think it'd be good if someone took some time in making a quality version.

Mega Man 86 isn't a Port of the NES version, it's a clone of the original. To be a port, the coder would have to have gotten the source code from Nintendo and optimized it to work on the 86.

I don't really like battle network because it has nearly no connections to the original. They could have just stuck a new superhero in Megaman's place, just using Mega Man because he use to be popular.

MM83 was fun for the 30- min. it took to beat... longer levels and maybe a good greyscale one for my new 89TE i'm getting...
