What is your forvorite TI calculator, and dont just say Voyage 200 just because it is the best handheld availible. Personally, my favorite calc is the 84+ SE because the easy layout and huge amounts of memory.

Edit
I like the 89. I have a T, but it isn't quite as good as the classic, because it has a bunch of extra junk. The grayscale graphics, huge memory, and nearly limitless potential really outshine the complexity.

The 83 series of calcs are really the weakest of all. The 84+ is... rather ugly to me.

That depends on what mood I'm in. If I'm feeling risky, my busted 83+. If I'm feeling pissed off, my busted 83+SE. If I'm feeling like programming, my 84+SE.

And if I feel like throwing it across the room, anything else.

If I had an 84+SE, 86, and 89 right in front of me. I would take the 86 and sell the 89 on ebay for the $$. Then take a sledge hammer to the brand new 84+SE and sell what is ever left on ebay :-)

You know, that's being rather violent, but since it's a 84+SE you're talking about, it's perfectly okay then.

And I'm not sure anyone likes the v200 the best, because it's more of (at least how I look of it) a handheld organizer that happens to do calculations as well.

Well, I'd probably say my fav. cal is 89. I liked grayscale on the 86 but that's about it, I always hated the ugly and annoying interface seen on 85/86. v200 is good but somewhat large to carry around so that's why I prefer 89. 89T and 84 series are just plain ugly, no offence anyone. 83/+/SE are nice but they can't beat 89 which has lots of ram, hi-res screen and faster proc, not to mention decent grayscale. That's about it for me.

My favorite calculator is my computer. 2^27 more colors, nearly 100x the seolution. maybe 1000 the ram. Also have at least 20000x the storage. And it has internet. It's not that good of a calculator though.

Yup, they can do almost everything except for graphing!

But nothing arguably can rival the ease of use (relatively speaking) of a handheld calculator, when it comes to calculation and such.

And remember, the TI calculators come with math software as their OS, and windows compys have that native calculator. :-/

LOL! That's great! Unless you need a CAS for something, then you're kind of stuck with the 89 family.

At least you can FIT a V200 in a pocket. Back in the day there was only the 92, or as I like to call it, the brick. :P
