My friend would like Ion for his 83. but i have a plus. He cannot download it because he does not have a cable. Were can I download this?

If you have a cable you could load the 83 version onto your calc (group file) and then send it into your friend's calc via calc-2-calc cable. Though, your buddy might want to invest that $15 and get a ti-connect cable. That'll make things easier for you and him.

It's 20 dollars for the cable Z, but If your friend still has an 83, he might just want to get a new calculator altogether
