I wonder how many different electronics use the z80 processor other than the calculators. I can so far only come up with gameboys, (not the DS, but every other one) and most basic mp3 players also use the z80 processor.

A lot did, especially old computers, the z80 was created in 1977, I think, and was the main CPU in some main line computers. I think wikipedia has an article about the z80, check it out.

Radio Shack TRS-80 computer.

My parents had one. Monochrome screen, eight inch floppy disks. The OS was CP/M.
