For some reason, whenever I try to send strings (like from the game Zilak) it gives me an address error, but everything else sends fine. What is wrong here?

Address error on the calculator or on the computer, and where are you sending it from and to?

I have the same exact problem. There are many games (such as Megaman 86) that give me an error saying that the data is invalid.

Try using another link prog, that maybe TI-Connect issue. Also make sure that's 86 string you're sending, not 85. Some of the 85 strings don't like being send onto 86.

I dealt with this recently when somebody else asked about it. Apparently TI Connect does some sort of validation checking when it sends files, and some strings meant as data for assembly games aren't let through. The Graph Link software, however, doesn't check anything and lets them through just fine. I don't know about TiLP.

I can back Ray up on what he said. My Mario levels I made won't transfer withoug a rename of each one first. It is a real pain in the woohoo. I was initially excited about TI Connect support for the 86 on Windows, but they sucked it up.
