As I'm sure you can guess, I had a lot of applicants to go through. It's not been an easy process. Many interviews and several weeks later, I'm ready to announce who will be replacing me.

Shortly into the hiring process, it was decided I wouldn't be replaced by a single person but by a committee. That is to say that many people would be carrying out my tasks and more. There still will be a single person doing the newsletter and news editing, but many people are being hired to produce content. So without any further delay, here's the decision.

Content manager: darksideprogramming (Matthew Offner)
Content manager: torrenttrue (Nate Buda)
Senior content manager: sobertillnoon (W. Hibdon)
Senior content manager: Midnight Walker (Trevor Tran)
News editor: AndySoft (Andy Janata)

Thanks to everyone that applied. Good luck to CalcGames.

Hello! I haven't been active here much, but I have been around or active in the calculator community for about three years now. I'm not going to say much now until I can communicate with everyone involved with this, but I'll say I'm honored to be hired by this fine website.

I'll post more details, et cetera, later tonight (I hope) once I have a chance to communicate with my fellow staff members.

edit: Username changed to make posting news easier.

Yay for new staff!

Oh, yeah, I was made a content manager a while back. Hehe, guess I never said much about it. Oh well, good to see more people helping out! Please find out what people want, and give it to 'em! And please become active, we need more than 2 or 3 administrators hanging out here, sometimes things get out of hand or need to be addressed more quickly. We could use some mods...

Oh, and I don't mind I wasn't really picked for News Editor. I'm planning on making Calc Haven super-souped up with more than a forum, so I don't want to be working on too many things at once. If you do think CG missed out on something big (you), contact me, and if I think you can help out, I'd really appreciate it. I'm not too great w/ CSS or html, so if you know any of those (perl or one of those would be spectacular) please contact me.

And good luck, too!

The only Administrator Hired was Andy, and I don't think we're considering hiring another anytime soon. About mods, really, I don't see any reason for those either.

Also, you might want to get working on the content thing, because remember, the user status can be easily changed. If I were you, I would contact Andy to see what you should do.

I know a ton of xHTML/CSS and just about anything else web related (including, yes, perl), but then, I'm already working here. :-)

Yeah, we have enough admins and other staff for now. It's good that things are slow right now so we can get our things together and stock up on new content by the BTS time (mid summer till mid fall).

As with new guys, big welcome to everyone! If you have questions or whatever, don't hesitate to email or PM me or Allyn.

EDIT: my bad!
