So you loaded ION shell, I believe there should be at the top of the list "A", right? (this is how ION worked a few years ago on my 83 at least). If so, then press enter on that, and you find the home screen says "prgmA", then press enter again. Now you should have a new menu with all of the games you loaded on, select one and play. If you didn't have the "A" choice, then try the same thing with the "ION" choice, which may install it, giving you the "A" choice. On a sidenote, I believe the most popular shell is MirageOS, which takes the form of a flash app. I can't help with that one though, I don't have a flash-app enabled z80 calc.

when i clicked on the programs button it said ION. and when i pressed enter 2 times, it just said sum error. you said you had a TI-83? i have a TI-84+ and when i also go to the games section for ti-84+ it says all the games on there are for ti-83... i followed the tutorial: TI-83+/SE and TI-84+/SE Visual Guide for Beginners - Sending and Managing Files and i got to the part were u select ION and press enter 2 times. when i press it the 2nd time i get a screen that says ERR: ARCHIVED, 1:Quit, 2:Goto

That's because you have the prgmION in the Archive memory, press [2nd] -> [+] -> [2] -> [1] to get to the memory management menu, scroll down to programs ION, IONZ, and ZMINFO and notice they have a star [*] by them. Hit enter to remove the star (Moves programs to RAM) and then run prgmION. Or you could just download MirageOS and run that (it's an app, it runs from the archive).

Also, ION won't start unless there is an actual program it can run. This screwed me up a while ago when I was trying to run ION on my calc that had nothing else on it, just to see if it worked.
