You're not going to be able to use a ROM image from you 84+ anyway. Emulators don't support it yet.

Nope. RAM clears are a natural part of asm (I've had about 100, give or take in my less-than-a-year tenure with asm so far). Just archive anything useful that you have.

yeah i know they are... but it is so irritating to spend good time writing something, 5 minutes messing with TI-connect (which doesnt seem to like my USB ports, i have to unplug my mouse to use it, for some reason USB 1,USB2, and USB3 dont work with it)

in other words, SOME ONE HURRY UP AND MAKE A 84 EMULATOR! (oops... little irritated today)

Just get the Flash Debugger, which is somewhere on TI's site. I don't have the exact link.

well... i dunno... im sure some genius will make something soon... perhaps an upgrade to VTI...

what would be cool is if instead of a ROM image, you could just use a Backup file from your calc... i would pay a little bit of money for something like that...

Edit
Uh, an 83+ rom SHOULD work, in that case, I'd ask someone very nicely to send you one. I could... if you ask very nicely.

still... 12 posts or so in, i still havent solved my problem...

i refuse to believe there are no working emulators that can get/support a TI-84 ROM image... even if ticalc.org skips from 83 to 85...

Everything you have on your 84+ will work on an 83+, so find an emulator that runs an 83+, like i think the flash debugger has one.

That's my company logo, or at least the downsized version (kinda squished tho). Also, I didn't use the h1 tag allyn, i just said <font size="7">, but i did spend a bit of time on the custom color job :)

"i have to unplug my mouse to use it, for some reason USB 1,USB2, and USB3 dont work with it"

Slightly off topic, but wouldn't it be easier to plug your mouse into one of your other USBs (You might have to reinstall it) and then plug the cable into the main one? Might save a little time and irritation.

That really shouldn't matter. TI-Connect only lists USB devices it recognizes.
