hehe, well technally I have almost 30 games on-calc (most in groups, ALL of them are BASIC and 90% of them are mine :P) but if you count the ones I have in my head then it goes into the hundreds :D

---
BASIC flames are for n00bs, you don't want to be a n00b do you? | My other calc is a Porsche.

None, when I upgraded to AMS 3.10 I lost them, and don't really feel like sending any back. Before that I dunno, maybe 20 or 30, easily.

really? when I upgraded I only lost some stuff. I thnk it is becasue the AMS needed another flash sector. Oh ya I have maybe 20 or 30 too but I don't feel like counting.

Yeah, I know the first time I went from 3.01->3.10 everything was fine, and then from 3.10->3.01 memory was still there, but 3.01->3.10 again, that's where I lost it.

Yes, I believe a previous version of MirageOS did do that. I heard about it, too. I don't think the current version does, though.

corrupets?!? check your spelling...

that sounds more like a bug then a virus. a virus implys the intent to harm your calc.

I have about 7 not including the Basic one I make >>>hey who has mirage if so get it off ur calculator it has a virus programmed into it first a friend told me then a teacher then i called TI and asked they said it freezes up your memory menu then corrupets internal programming or somthing like that<<<
1. I have to agree with >jessef< on the whole virus thing as far as I know :rolleyes_a: Detached Solutions whould not give out a virus
2. is it just me or does Someone always over react?
3. Even if Mirage had a virus i whould still get it (Thats what a backup is for). Mirage (in my opinion) is the be shell to use and it is the only shell that plays almost all the games out there!

Yes, but remember: I'm using a Silver Edition. Itr has like 8 times the ammount of flash memory than a normal TI-83+. (3*8=24) ;)

I am assuming you also have a TI-84 PLUS Silver Edition calculator, correct?

The TI-84 Silver Edition comes with 1.5 mb of rom.............this is incredibly generous, and it is capable of storing many, many, small-medium sized games. :)

Uh, actually your calculator should have 24000 bytes of RAM and somewhere around 160000 bytes of ROM. In order to reset your calculator to create room for other programs, clear your Rom by doing the following:

Press:
[2nd] + [+] + [7] + [Right Arrow] + [2] + [2]

This should remove all of the apps you currently have stored in your ROM, giving you ample room for new programs and applications.

You should note that if you intend to run Gemini or Desolate, I recomend you first install MirageOS (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/139/13949.html). Then upload the the programs to your ARCHIVE memory. Once you have done this, simply run MirageOS from your APPLICATION menu, and you should be able to run your programs from there. :)

yeah... mirage is good. it saves you the trouble of having to archive/unarchive your programs. the problem is that it never tells you whether you have enough ram to run the program or not...

well... that's because it's a teris game. the memory screen can be kind of tricky sometimes... once in a while, archive all of your stuff and reset your ram. if not, programs that tell you the amount of ram you have left will give you a different number than the memory screen.

Wow...Busy thread.

I have 7 on my 84+, 8 if MEDIT counts. Surprisingly, on my 89T, there are 7 games as well (and 4 games I've made), mainly because they are hecka huge. I think two of them won't even fit on the 83+.
