Total Posts: 2 | Don't wanna spend too much money and was wondering which calculator is the best for games and why? I did a little research and looks like the ti-83+ or ti-83+(se) would be best for me. Also need a calculator advanced enough for pre-calculus next year. Any suggestions? |

Total Posts: 29 | 86 is imho the best, 89 has better stuff, but afaik you can only get the 89TE now, those suck. I'd go with the 86, unless you're programming, then I'd go with the 83+

Edit | I have a TI 84+ SE, and it's pretty good. The 83 series is probably the best for BASIC programming. |

Total Posts: 2 | thanks for the replies, but since i'm a noob i'm goin with the ti-83+ series. I assumed the silver edition(se) would be better but on wikipedia.com it says the games on the (se) run too fast.
