Acces denied. (80070005)
(it's dutch it really say's toegang geweigerd (80070005))
evry time i try to put a program on my cal. (TI-84 plus) for this reason i went back to the store and got a new cal. but now i have the same problem again. i have to edmit that i've deledet some app's but can this be the problem (on an other com the mesege is cannot lokate calculator) i have instalt evry thing corectly and i think i have evrything updated
please need help.
(i can upgrade the cal. but most programs can't beput on it)

do you have the NEWEST version on ti-connect on your pc and what type of cord do you have to connect your calc to ur pc?

Total Posts: 692 | It seems no-one has yet to come up with a solution, and the TI site is no help either.
However, I have done some puttering around Google, and there are 2 things I discovered.
a) It seems most people that are having this problem have OS 2.41 (in the case of the 84). Apparently, downgrading to 2.30 has fixed some of these problems, and;
b) This seems to depend more on the program than TI-Connect. In my personal experience, I tried to send three files to my calc, and got that error message. I resarted my computer (another potential solution), and it still came up. However, I tried tranferring some vars, a group file and some other normal *.8xp files, and they worked, sans restart.
Not sure if somebody can use this to piece together a possible definite solution, but it might help. |

Total Posts: 542 | I have version 2.30 and i still get that problem. i have helpd someone else out this year, and my solution worked just fine. All of you seem think that it is a computer problem, when really it is physical. Solution: the connection wire is lose. Just make sure it is nice and firm in there. Hold it, jam it in, use duct tape (not really), do what ever you have to do to hold it in. trust me, it does work

Total Posts: 542 | @ryantmer: sometimes i will be sending a file, and it will stop and give me that error, but the sec i hold the wire firm, the error goes away. just by moving the calc or nudging the cord, it can mess it up. did you ever happen to notice how flimsy the cords that plug into the USB are? pethetic. for something so important, there should be more sercurity with the strength of its hold.
