Guess not, the beginning of the year is always dead so no big surprise here. As with the projects, when Barrett comes back we'll probably resume of the ancient CG projects, doubt we'll get back to making games but will probably update the website at the least.

Good ol' Barret. Maybe I'll get to know him better once he's home from the mission trip (less than a month left?).

Kansas all-state auditions tomorrow for mallet percussion. I've been studying and practicing hypnosis, so maybe I'll catch a victim within the 13 hours that we'll be on the bus/there...

*luckthankings*
I mostly do four-malleted marimba stuff, but the audition was only for two. I hope I made it.

It's strange... one of the people I got to agree to be hypnotized had flickering (and closed) eyelids. I've heard that a quivering limb is a telltale sign of deepening trance, but nothing about the eyes... REM?

Nearghh. I forgot my 83+ at home today, so I borrowed an 81 from someone. Those things are terrible! In my free time, I ended up making a list of things that tormented my mind:

1) No complex numbers or mode
2) Almost no parenthesal functions
3) 4 Y= functions
4) No strings
5) 3 matrices
6) 2 lists
7) bad order of operations
8.) no loops
9) no getkey
10) pre-made programs, unalphabetized
11) no catalog
12) no archivery
13) 2400 bytes available
14) bad reponsiveness
15) small math menu (and without solvin')
16) hardly any stat-calculating
17) no graph-screen settings (axis, coordinates)
18) only 2 graphing modes
19) no Full/Horiz/G-T option
20) very limited graphing variation
21) matrix functions are scarce
22) no list functions
23) maximum homescreen entry size
24) no contrast-changin'
25) flickery display at times
26) bad "clear" function
27) no ZSquare or other zooming things
28) no variable management
29) no solving for X on the graph-screen
30) no graph-screen-cursor-jumping
31) no menu function
32) no angle menu
33) bad error diagnosage
34) no Output command
35) graph-screen cursor centers after a single use
36) no logical operators
37) bad matrix-and-list editing
38) no small font

I probably missed some stuff, but it still makes you thankful for the freedoms we have today :img20: ...

Woah... almost 30000 users, and less than 30 active ones... prolly about 10 of which are just newbies asking questions. The other 20, heh, we have a community! :D

It's true: We need more posting new users to make up for those who have left. I can't help but wonder why such a number of users register each day, but hardly any of them ever say anything on the forum. There aren't THAT many file reviews! :img20:

Who knows why those guys join the forum, but never post...

Then again, I would imagine a lot of those are former posters as well.
