I live in new york and i am taking Math B (and taking the regents at the end of the school year). Anyway, i was wondering if there were any programs for the ti-83+ that could help me this year. Thanks in advance.

Math B is easy, you should have no need for any programs to help you. Just get to know your calculator.

Math B? Is that like Algebra 1?

It is much easier to suggest solutions when you know nothing about the problem.

zachery940: It's like a mix of Algebra, Trig and a few more things with a few more advanced topics.

It's irrelavent though as it has just been discontinued by New York (however, it will be taught to students who are in it or are taking Math A this year).

well if its like algebra 2 then u defenitely want a program for the quadratic equation, or u can make one in like 30 seconds

If you need a calculator program to do quadratic equations, you probably also need to wear a helmet and a leash 24/7.

Yes, no program is necessary.

well unless ur going to waste time typing it into your calc, it maximizes time using a program

time saved vs dumbness obtained
well a quad solver is cool and all but if you dont learn how to solve now ur screwed later on. Also some kids will never learn and just skate by using programs until one day there teacher clears there memory before a test and then :) UR Screwed
