Discuss. ;)

Ohh, right, you want details, don't you?

Well, now, let me just say that I've gotten a LOT of free time recently with my calculator, and BG3 will finally be a reality. I'm dropping the time-traveling story, and just making it a final battle between Bob and George.

As for the game itself... it will feature something few text games have incorporated successfully: graphical, FUN minigames. The game will be filled with short ASCII minigames that, once beaten, will be unlocked for free play. Not surprisingly, these games are immensely small in size, and I managed to make two such games that are less than a KB in size and yet still original and fun.

Also, to improve upon the original text-game adventure, I'm being sure to include a bunch of fun goodies that make the game more about skill and less about choosing randomly between stupid answers, so if you lose, it's not because you were forced to. If you die, there'll be more than one "You have died..." message... that was an obvious addition. I've also added in an animated demo screen, and the ending(s?) will probably be animated.

As the final BobGame, BG3 will most likely reference all of the others at some point. I already have a few ideas. :)

If you have any questions, comments, or ideas (that would be sweet!), post here post-haste!

But now you look in the archives and see all these Bob copies and ripoffs.

TimmyGame, Bob XE, and GeorgeGame. George2 was just approved. Well, Text Based Adventures are a kinda good way for a BASIC newbie to learn stuf.

Yeah, everyone was a n00b once... it's just some of us had a bit (okay, a lot) more experience before they got involoved in the community. And others have learned a lot since joining. Hang in there... you'll stop being a n00b someday >:D j/k
