Because you don't need a computer to program with it.

DSP is so powerful, he doesnt even need to know that i asked a question, and he will SILL answer it.

that is why basic doesnt suck.

well, lets count the ways:

1:doesnt require a computer
2:ease of use
3:easy to debug
4:easy to test
5:no compiling nessesary
6:does not hurt calculator with bad code
7:requires minimal understanding for simple things you want to get done, while if you want to get simple things done with ASM, you need to know alot of stuff. The idea of the prgm is directly related to the amount you need to know.

Although ASM is admittedly much more powerful and can do cool stuff, I prefer BASIC because I can program whenever and wherever I want.

hydralisk uses the BASIC streams and blends it into a wave of BASIC ASCII characters and swamps all but his allies...

lol, trying to spell getto is an oxymoron. its like trying to get a retard to spell "weetarted". and you havent been to the real gettos till you've been to Chicago, where my home is. Wow, now that i think of it, there were alot of gang wars back then... so much death...

Since there is no such thing as "genious", hydra implodes and leaves the site forver. Sorry, that last part was wishful thinking.

Since there is no such thing as "forver", TheOnlyJon declares it a word meaning "for no time at all", just to trick people.

Since TheOnlyJon spells his name without an H, L takes the missing H and uses is to construct a nuke which decimates the earth while Jc, Dsp, and L escape to the moon, where they wait to take down any possible survivors with high-powered M14 precision rifles.

Jc laughs inside Hydralisk as the pitiful fellow tries to program ASM, as Jc doesn't know a single BIT of it. (Though, I'm taking a class in it soon...)

LiK sighs as he MUST take a programing class as a requirement. He then uses his 'genious' to own the world 'forver'.

... and the snowball builds...

Ha, I typoed. It happens to the best (and believe me, I am among the best). Wouldn't it be "whom he pities"? I'm not entirely sure on that though.
