File Description:  This is an altered version of Phoenix (By Patrick Davidson) that uses the graphics from Phantom Star made by Joe Pemberton. It has almost identical enemies, weapons, ship, and icons. Note: This game is not fully complete, so it is in a post-beta stage, since it is very playable. Not all weapons are included yet. I will also add the enemy routines from PS to it soon.

Graphics/Interface: 7/10 Can be better.
Playability/Usability: 8/10 Not too bad and many of kind of levels (from beginner to advanced).
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 9/10
Controls/Interface: 10/10 Perfect controls... Curor-keys for moving and 2nd-button for fire.
Overall Value: 8/10 This is the best game I ever play on my calc!

Graphics/Interface: 10/10 The sprites were well done, and the stars in the back ground were a nice addition
Playability/Usability: 9/10 Lots of fun, will keep anyone entertained for hours
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 9/10 Since the power-ups are random, no two games are ever the same
Controls/Interface: 9/10 Has several cool features, easy to use
Overall Value: 9/10 Lots of fun, Easy to get the hang of, but still has some challenge to it.

Comments:
This game is very well done. No glitches, and the screen scrolls while you are playing, so you have more enemies on each level. While i had no problem beating it, it still had some challenge to it. I actually enjoyed playing this game, and it compares to Phoenix in terms of fun. I dont expect it to become as popular as Phoenix, but it deserves its share of cheap knockoffs :)

Graphics/Interface: 8/10 Better than regular phoenix
Playability/Usability: 10/10 easy to use
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 10/10 Everyone loves Phoenix Variations!
Controls/Interface: 9/10
Overall Value: 9/10 The best Phoenix Variation

Comments:
This is by far the best phoenix variation for an 83+. It has better graphics than the regular. It also had smooth gameplay that most Phoenix variations don't have. If any phoenix, download this. It's almost better than the original! ( btw, I was the 9000th downloader :)

Graphics/Interface: 10/10 Great graphics, much much MUCH better than original phoenix, even on fast speed.
Playability/Usability: 10/10 Ummm...It's phoenix, people! only better.
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 8/10 Eh, once you beat it it gets boring cause you go through the levels over and over again
Controls/Interface: 10/10 Easier to use than my gameboy [which only has 2 real buttons and a d-pad]
Overall Value: 9/10 Get it

Comments:
Smoothly drawn, well-integrated with enemies, bosses and waves of alien scum aplenty.

Side Note: one bug i've noticed about this game is that the bullets that the first three waves of enemies fire go thru the left side of your ship w/out damaging you. fun to exploit :))))

Graphics/Interface: 10/10 Some of the Smoothest one the TI 83+
Playability/Usability: 10/10 Wow...
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 10/10 Never Tires In Class...
Controls/Interface: 10/10 Same Classic Controls
Overall Value: 10/10 GET THIS GAME NOW!

Comments:
Phantom Phoenix is the best installment of Phoenix yet! It has much better graphics than the original Phoenix, and the rest of the great gameplay hasn't changed at all, except that the enemies are much harder to defeat (which is a good thing, mind you). It also auto-saves when you exit the game to the exact positions of everything on the screen, which can come in handy if you are in class playing calculator games - if you catch my drift- he he he. Any Phoenix or Non-Phoenix player should download this game right away.

This Looks like a Great game, most altered versions of games fall way short. This one excels and beats out the original!!!
