Graphics/Interface: 9/10 Excellent for a Basic game, but still comparable to many games in Assembly
Playability/Usability: 8/10 User-friendly, graphical interface
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 5/10 Repetitive
Controls/Interface: 7/10 The upgrade menus are a little tricky
Overall Value: 8/10 Not incredibly fun, but a testament to Basic

Comments:
This game is mostly eye candy. Like Alienhead's other productions, this game is less about gamel=play and more a testament to the actual power of Basic. However, it is less fun that either of their Final Fantasy games. It gets repetitive; you only have a few weapons. All you do is fire at the enemy, with no real skill involved.

Graphics/Interface: 8/10 excellent for a basic game, decent game
Playability/Usability: 7/10 It's turn based, so it's not really that action packed, it's sort of a slugfest between two ships
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 5/10 after you win...you can go back again and try to get better weapons, not too appealing to me since it doesn't change
Controls/Interface: 9/10 Works
Overall Value: 8/10 One of the better BASIC games

Comments:
A pretty interesting game that has decent graphics unlike most BASIC game, it's like Phoenix (every space shooting game compares to phoenix) with only a boss and turn based cotnrols.

Graphics/Interface: 10/10 Hitoshi's graphics surpass many present-day games, and they really add to the game's overall feel. The beginning movie is especially amazing for its time!
Playability/Usability: 8/10 The game is easy enough to learn, but takes a while to ace. The fighting gets a little monotonous halfway through the game, though.
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 7/10 The ability to upgrade the ship differently gives it some replay value, but the fighting stays the same old thing.
Controls/Interface: 8/10 The controls couldn't be much simpler, and the interface is nealry transparent.
Overall Value: 9/10 If you haven't played it or you're looking for one of the best TI-83+ games ever (especially in terms of movies), then look no further! It's a blast to play- you won't be sorry!

When Hitoshi Koizumi first released Stardust to the TI-calc public, it was groundbreaking. From its amazing movies (save for the occasionally broken English) to the enticing graphics in combat and out, Stardust defined what a great calculator game was. Today it is still seen as one of the best games ever to be made for the 83+, and its movies are only surpassed by Hitoshi's later creations. The game is turn-based combat, but it takes a while to get dull, and Stardust (the final boss) is certainly no pushover. Try it- you'll like it!
