File Description:  This is version v0.6 of Arena 3D (now TITANIUM COMPATIBLE and recompiled with TIGCC .95 Final), by Malcolm Smith. This game is a clone of First Person Shooters like Unreal Tournament (R) and Quake III (R), especially the Rocket Arena mod. You just try to kill all of the enemies to get points. You can battle against 0 to 5 bots, and set the frag (kill) limit to whatever you want. You can also change the bot skill, which affects their accuracy. Currently, everyone only has a rocket launcher, unless it's Instagib (instant hit) mode. In addition to turning, strafing, and firing, you have two bonus moves: Speed Up (which doubles movement and turning speed), and Hit Find (which turns you to face where the last shot that hit you came from). The 3D rendering part of this game is courtesy of the FAT Engine, by Thomas Nussbaumer. This package includes an on-calc level editor and documentation. The SDK (separate- contains outdated game source, use this source) is mainly for PC level editing. TITANIUM USERS-HW3PATCH REQUIRED.

Graphics/Interface: 8/10 Sometimes a bit pixelated and could use more variety, but is useful. The interface is straightforward.
Playability/Usability: 10/10 The gameplay should be very close to most FPS games. The only thing that might be added onto is the weapon arsenal.
Replay Value/Reuse Value: 10/10 There are many maps, and many combinations of bots and difficulties for countless experiences.
Controls/Interface: 9/10 There are only four important keys in-game, and keys can be reconfigured.
Overall Value: 9/10 Overall, this game has never been attempted before, and should be seen as a loyal clone of the successful 3D games for the computer.

Comments:
I am the author of this game, and I think that Arena captures the essence of 3D First Person Shooters. There is only one weapon, the rocket launcher, which makes sense because the game is also called Rocket Arena 3D :-) The game is very graphical in interface, and you will only have to enter text when setting up a game. The gameplay greatly varies and can be: deathmatch, teamplay deathmatch, or capture the flag. You can also turn on Instagib / instant hit rocket mode for the game. Arena lets you battle bots in countless environments, and should be a fun game to play anytime. It also comes with a level editor, so please send levels to m@malcolm-s.net :-)
